As a vital part of our Benevolence Ministry, we take part in the national Angel Food Ministries program. This program is both an outreach and inreach ministry, helping to feed people both physically and spiritually. Through this ministry, individuals and families, from not only Crosspointe, but throughout the community, can order quality food based on a different menu each month.
The regular unit of food is $30.00 and will feed a family of four for a week or a single person for a month. When a regular unit is ordered, you can then order any or all of the specials available that month, with no limit on quantity. There are no qualifications or requirements in order to purchase the food. Payment can be made in form of a check, cash, or food stamps and is payable at time of order. This is a great way for those who want to stretch that dollar with restaurant quality meats and name food brands. It also allows individuals to purchase food for others and spread God's love in a substantial way. The food is delivered tot he church on a Saturday near end of each month.
If you are looking for a ministry to volunteer in - Angel Food Ministry could be it. Do you desire to help others and spread God's love? Then come join us and I guarantee that you will be blessed more than you can imagine. The only qualification is you must be at least 12 years old, for safety reasons. Help is needed in all areas of thsi ministry - from taking orders to unloading trucks, to bagging the food, or carrying it out to the cars when it is picked up. There is something in this ministry for everyone.
